About

This blog exists to encourage the reader’s desire for sound doctrine and to encourage such a desire. The church today has many concerning and dangerous doctrines even in otherwise doctrinally sound churches. This blog exists to encourage the reader that Scripture is Sufficient and to desire sound doctrine.

This blog exists to obey the commands in Scripture instructing us that we may not sit quietly by as dangerous doctrines and false teachers continue to lead many astray using every means available to them. We are responsible for learning the truth, discerning truth from error and being able to give a defense for the hope within us. We are also responsible to expose dangerous doctrines and those who teach it.

This blog exists to make clear Biblical distinctions between sound and unsound teachers, teachings, churches, music, movements and more, that identify with Christianity.

This blog exists to both promote doctrinally sound teachers and teachings, as well as, expose false teachers and false teachings.

This blog exists to offer helpful resources and recommendations, as much as is possible, that will benefit the reader in their desire for sound doctrine, their search for a local healthy church and related resources.

This blog exists to encourage the reader to a love for sound doctrine which leads to godly living, the health of individual Christians, our home, our local fellowship with the saints and every sphere of our lives.

This blog does not exist to answer all the readers genuine concerns and questions for you but to encourage you how to think Biblically and test all things according to God’s Word.

This blog does not exist to address all false teachers and their teachings but to use well-known examples to set forth the example of how to test all things Biblically.

This blog does not exist in the place of your local fellowship with the saints!

It is my hope that these writings will stir the reader to a sincere love of sound doctrine, love for the body of Christ, to be Biblically discerning, to be able to give a defense for the hope within us and to refute those who contradict, to obey the clear command in Scripture to be a member of a local healthy church where there exists a plurality of Biblically qualified elders who exposit the Word and to grow in the knowledge of the truth so that we may demonstrate the power of the Gospel in our lives and doctrine.
